We've all been waiting for it, we've all been anxious to read it, and we've all been itching to hear just a taste of what is contained within the pages of this book on The Great One's highly-rated, nationally syndicated radio talk show.

Liberty And Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark Levin is perhaps the most pivotal, most important, and most essential books ever written on the current state of America -- perhaps even since Common Sense by Thomas Paine.

We, as conservatives, that is, are at a crossroads in this country. We lost an election which will ultimately determine the course this country takes in the near future. All facets of our country -- government power, economic stability, and leadership position and sovereignty of our nation -- are being aggressively threatened. Unfortunately, the very fabric of our country is being torn asunder by a silent, peaceful but destructive revolution -- and that from within by a radical left-wing socialist agenda.

Mark Levin goes to great lengths in his book to illustrate clearly to what degree our democracy is under assault. Like all of his other books, the Great One exacts his extensive knowledge in all areas which build our nation, and the evidence presented herein is irrefutable.

The Great One, Mark Levin(if you do not listen to his show), appropriately brands those who ally themselves with the left-wing socialist agenda as "statists" -- some of whom are clearly established as having close ties to President Barack Obama. An appropriate definition for the term, "statist," would be "one who embraces a dangerous, hybrid philosophy between a left-wing socialist agenda with a communist, soft tyranny." A statist can also be characterized as having a great disdain for America, and equating most any actions taken by our government with evil and/or terrorism.

Click Here To Purchase at Amazon.Com

With the election of Barack Obama, and the Democratic takeover of both houses of the legislature, Mark Levin addresses how these two factors have put the statist's troops in play; and, if these things are not addressed and resisted appropriately, our country will be in deep peril -- our children's future is at great risk.

Mark Levin does a great job documenting and illustrating how the statists have silently infiltrated nearly every aspect of our country. After reading this excellent book, you will be understand:

How the education system has produced unthinking, left-leaning students

How the media has the left-wing statist agenda in their best interests

Why Democrats under Pelosi and Reid are delighted to have the chance to promote and succeed in passing the statist agenda

How college professors are teaching the statist agenda in virtually every subject imaginable

and much more

Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto is a principle guidebook for the conservatives to win America and its original ideas back. He explains the exact strategy which is needed to allow conservatives to win back America -- mainly, a strategy of no-compromise on standard, traditional conservative values. These compromises are exactly what watered down the Republican Party and gave rise to the GOP moderates, who offer no distinction between the conservative ideal and the harmful, statist agenda.

This is a must have book for anyone who fears for the future of America. There is so much material explained and expounded upon in this book, that I could literally write a book on Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto itself. If I did that, I would undoubtedly ruin the book for you and spoil it.

Bottom Line: If you truly care about America -- if you fear for your children's future -- if you are scared that we, as Americans are losing our God-given liberties at a terrifyingly rapid pace, click here or below to go to Amazon.Com and secure your copy of Mark Levin's excellent treatsie on America now, while it is still in stock at the discounted, introductory price.

Update: Currently Out Of Stock, but Click Below To Reserve Your Copy Today!

Click Here To Purchase at Amazon.Com

CAO WINS REP SEAT -- BEATS JEFFERSON

by Jerry Ryburg

Thank God is all I can say. It seems apparent that the majority of voters who went to the polls to vote in this historic election had little to no idea what exactly it was that they were voting for. Some may have voted for a particular candidate simply because they were told to do so. Some may have voted for a particular candidate due to the obvious media bias which was prevalent on the side of one candidate. It is truly shocking that a voter would not choose a candidate which is best for them and rely on others to direct them, yet it seems apparent that this is exactly what happened in many cases throughout the country. Can America really be that ignorant?

A recent Zogby poll revealed some astonishing and frightening results. 512 Obama voters were surveyed between 11/13/08-11/15/08. 57.4% of Obama voters could not correctly say which party currently controls congress. 71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism. 82.6% could not correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot. 88.4% could not correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket. 56.1% could not correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground.1

On the flip side of the issue, Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes. Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter. 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that! Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct. Only .5% got all of them correct.2 It is absolutely stunning that our media focused more on the negativity or demonization of the GOP ticket, than even attempt to report the various gaffes of Obama and Biden on the Democratic ticket. Another video, having more than 1,000,000 hits on Youtube.com, features exit interviews of 12 Obama voters with overwhelmingly similar results.

Perhaps even more disturbing is the significant reelection of Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania. A few weeks before election day, Murtha said concerning his constituency, "There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area." After little or no coverage of this in the mainstream media(MM), Murtha decided to come out and thoroughly explain what he meant saying, "What I said, that indicted everybody, that's not what I meant at all. What I mean is there's still folks that have a problem voting for someone because they are black. This whole area, years ago, was really redneck. Particularly older people. They want change but they don't want to see things go too far.”3 After insulting his constituency even more with such scathing prejudice, Murtha went on to win reelection with a shocking 58.1% majority win. What is wrong with these people?

Finally, in Louisiana, we have the elusive Rep. Bill Jefferson. In June of 2007, Jefferson was indicted on 16 counts of using his congressional office to influence the acceptance of bribes for support of telecommunications projects in Nigeria. He is most known for the discovery of $90,000 in marked bills in his freezer, which were given to him as a bribe from a government informant. As a result of these discoveries, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stripped him of all of his committee assignments. Although the case against Jefferson is very strong, and his leverage in the House is now fairly insignificant, he went on to win the Democratic primary with 56.8% of the vote. A final election against his Republican opponent is scheduled for December, and there is not much hope he will win, for the seat has been controlled by Democrats since reconstruction. Also equally disturbing, Jefferson never showed up for one debate, nor did he campaign physically. By some estimates, he only gave 20% effort locally for this campaign. The irony of the situation: December 7 may be the final phase of the election of this congressional seat, but it only happens to be a week or two from then when his first hearing on these indictment starts. In other words, New Orleans voters just reelected an indicted criminal, with absolutely no influence in the House, and is destined to resign in disgrace and go to prison. Congratulations.

America, who are you electing to represent us? This truly is a disgusting situation.

Sources:

http://www.howobamagotelected.com

http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/17764334/detail.html

ibid

A “New Brand” of Conservatism

by Jerry Ryburg

Americans, we as conservatives lost a pivotal presidential election. Shrouded in confusion and misunderstanding, the values of conservatism which preserve the central ideals of our constitution have suffered a blowing defeat, in favor of leftist, big-government policies, which will be hard to fend off. All the while considering the minority status of the GOP in the House and the Senate, we will accept defeat, yet we will not surrender. We will energize and revive our base, and we will effectively communicate to the American people why the preservation of conservative ideals is essential to our individual freedoms and constitutional rights. The GOP needs a well-defined platform, a more defined focus, and a solid, uncompromising dedication to regaining control. Without a doubt, America will soon experience a much needed surge of conservative revival, seeking 2010 as the goal to regain control of the House and Senate. It is therefore absolutely essential for the GOP to adopt a “New Brand” of conservatism.

First, the GOP obviously needs a complete overhaul in its leadership. All House and Senate leaders should respectfully step down and not seek reelection to their posts. If this will not happen, the true conservatives in the GOP should rise up and effectively challenge the incumbents for these positions. As it stands at the present time, the GOP holds 40 seats to the Democrats' 57 in the Senate, and 174 seats to the Democrats' 255 in the house. This is a obviously a difficult margin to conquer, and it also serves as a wake-up call to the GOP that the American people are just not keen on the GOP, in general. The GOP leadership at present in the House and Senate should take the blame for these outrageous losses, and a new strategy must be agreed upon in order to invigorate the conservative base of the GOP once again.

But, who or what exactly is the GOP? Over the past decade, this has become an increasingly harder question to answer. The GOP has been infiltrated by pseudo-conservatives and party-changing opportunists who have all but obscured the conservative ideal from the American people. A true sign of bad strategy, there are simply too many moderates, “compassionate conservatives,” and even liberals in the GOP at this time. This is extremely evident when looking at the voting records of most of the GOP. It is as if they have decided to govern as Democrats, and as a result, the American people cannot tell a significant difference between the two parties. A Democrat sounds like a Republican, and vice-versa, in most of the American people's eyes. This had to have been a significant factor in the presidential election, where we had a moderate Republican, John McCain, running against a liberal posing as a centrist, Barack Obama.

There are three underlying principles which need to be taught and vehemently communicated to the American people: individual rights, economic freedom, and government with strictly limited powers. This is what I have termed “the Goldwater Model” in my other columns. The liberal agenda has as its goal a government with great unlimited powers, curbed individual rights, and little economic freedom as shown in its utter abhorrence of capitalism. These are the points which need to be contrasted and conclusively shown to be diametrically opposed to each other. “The Goldwater Model” is completely consistent with the intents of our founding fathers in drafting the Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights. All Americans need to be reminded about the history of the founding of our country, the resulting infancy stages of our government, and the reasons why the founding fathers adopted the positions they did with our best interests in mind.

The GOP would do well also in secularizing its approach to government. The GOP has caused itself much damage in harboring an incorrect reputation of legislating religious morality, instead of legislating against the harms of moral relativism. This moral relativism movement is slowly gaining control in our society in rebellion to what is perceived to be religious legislation, and this will soon erode the moral fabric of America. While religious influence is somewhat unavoidable in forming positions, it should not seem to the primary factor. Rather, a more secular approach would describe that these “religious” values are actually the preservation of the moral qualities our founding fathers' prided themselves on, and these moral values are exactly what has made America the greatest country on the face of the earth. We must not give the impression that we are combining church and state, but we must describe these values as original, intended, and wholly practical in our society.

Regaining control will not necessarily be an easy task, nor will it take place overnight. Nevertheless, with the right level of focus and an intelligent, winning strategy, the conservative base of the GOP can

steer this country back in the right direction—the intent of our founding fathers. If the GOP dedicates itself to the promotion of policies which are right of center, communicate the benefits to the American people, and exhibit an unwavering, uncompromising position, the future will be in the hands of GOP, and recovery will start sooner—rather than later.

The Call to Rally Behind Obama

by Jerry Ryburg

The election is over, and the American people have spoken. It was an electoral landslide, 364 for Sen. Obama to Sen. McCain's 163—53% of the popular vote to Sen. Obama to Sen. McCain's 46%--not a landslide. Now that the presidential election has culminated and everything is done, we are now called by liberal and conservative pundits alike to rally behind Sen. Obama. After all, he is our president-elect, and we have Sen. Obama for at least the next four years. It is our duty to support our new president, regardless of our party affiliation. We must rally behind Sen. Obama and support him through this transition process, and accept defeat, for the American people have spoken and have done so decisively.

In response, as a conservative/libertarian, I will answer the call.

I will rally behind Sen. Obama, who is an unashamed socialist who is looking to “spread the wealth around.” I will support him and his VP, Sen. Joe Biden, who stated that paying higher taxes is “patriotic,” and also claimed that Sen. Hillary Clinton was more qualified to be VP, and even president, than he is. I will stand behind Obama, who finds among his friends a spiritual mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who has said some of the most damnable, hateful diatribes I have ever heard against this country. I will support Obama in his effort to wave the white flag of surrender, and support him in his attitude of giving up on our troops.

I will rally alongside Obama by joining him in his disdain for first and second amendment rights and push for a revival of the fairness doctrine and support stiffer gun control laws for lawful citizens. I will join Obama in agreement with his wife, Michelle, in declaring with her that for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country. In fact, I will voluntarily sign myself up for Obama's newly proposed “citizen national security force” which is an idea straight out of Marxism. I also applaud his political courage in raising taxes for small businesses which make over $250,000(or is it $100,000?), after all small businesses make up only a fraction of the economy, and the consumer base would not be affected at all. I also applaud Obama on exposing “Joe the Plumber” for what he is, a McCain plant, and someone who has “the audacity of hope” in asking questions and desiring straight answers.

With the calls for “change,” and all of the “yes, we cans” we have heard, I cannot see a problem. Obama has promised he will be a bipartisan unifier. This is why I support his pick for chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, a true bipartisan, who once said something to the effect of “If the republicans don't like it, f*** them.” Along with the help of non-partisan Democratic leaders such as Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, I have no doubt that we will achieve the unification which Obama aspires for. Robert Kennedy, Jr., who is possibly being tapped to head the EPA, has said that anyone who disagrees with or disputes global warming is traitorous—a true bipartisan at heart.

Yes, I support our new president, who formed a close relationship and launched his political career with anti-American and unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers(a cop killer), who does not believe the Weather Underground did enough with their bombings. I will gladly and openly receive any tax hike proposals on the capital gains, homestead exemption, and applaud the return of the death tax, especially in our current time of economic crisis. I will now drop unequivocally any and all concerns which I had in suspecting voter fraud committed by ACORN and other hard working “grass-roots” organizations responsible for “getting the vote out.”

But then alas, I woke up.

The conservative response to this election is not to wave the white flag of surrender to President-elect Obama. We may have our hands a bit tied in the legislature, but it is up to us as conservative Americans to lobby our senators and members of congress to fight against any new radical leftist proposals which come up for a vote. I have faith in the American people, and I have faith that much of the Democratic majority in the House and the Senate are not the leftist radicals which Obama represents. If we choose to remain silent, that is our fault. The task is on us, and in two years, we can regain control by sending a resounding “NO” to Obama by regaining control of the House and Senate.

Our new platform is stated thus: uncompromised conservative values, a thorough definition of why conservatism is the way it should be, and a condemnation of liberalism as a threat to individual freedoms.

This is America, “the land of the free, and the home of the brave,” not the land of the bogged down, and the home of the weak.

We pride ourselves in living in a country which encourages all to seek, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” not to seek living by dictates of government, liberalism, and the happiness of pursuit.”

Revive the GOP, or else! I fear the very fabric of our county will be demoralized, and America as we “knew” it will be an entity of the past.

<img src="http://www.awltovhc.com/image-3259849-10456547" width="468" height="60" alt="Yahoo! This article is not an indictment, nor is it a demonization of the Religious Right(RR). I believe the RR to be an important, if not integral force which should influence the moral fiber of our country. The problem I have is that I feel they have completely weakened the GOP and hurt its reputation through exerting too much influence by requiring various litmus tests for potential candidates—I do not believe I am alone in this view. With that said, we shall continue.
The RR has much inconsistency within itself and there exists much infighting that cannot be crushed. Most evangelicals, Mormons, and Catholics identify with and form the base of the RR. While they unite as the RR on political issues, they condemn each other to hell from their pulpits. This inconsistency is hypocritical and one reason why the GOP has garnered a negative reputation. We have seen GOP leaders and figures that vehemently stand for RR values and condemn those who don’t, fall deficient in their own moral character and judgment. The Ted Haggards, the David Vitters, the Larry Craigs, etc. have made the GOP look like bumbling idiots. As it is often said, “One bad apple spoils the whole bunch.” How can the RR trust their issues with GOP leaders who seem to routinely go against their very beliefs? Hypocrisy never is rewarding, and it is the very reason most Americans do not trust government in general today. In this respect, any GOP leader who falls morally short in his or her life is criticized as if they are the pastor of a church or a religious figure. When did the GOP become a religious organization?

Perhaps even more hypocritical are some of the demographics of the 2008 presidential election. According to most studies, 56% of Roman Catholics voted for Barack Obama. That is stunning—and it’s a significant majority. This says that Catholics, despite threats of excommunication, elected a pro-choice candidate—a candidate who represents the far left on abortion rights, and supports legislation which allows for late term abortion and legalized infanticide if the baby survives—an abhorrent and morally reprehensible thought. What happened here? Can we conclude that the abortion issue is not the hot button issue it once was? I think we should assume it is not, and rebuild the conservative legacy by promoting good government policies and individual freedoms, and not faith-based morality issues.

In our rebuilding effort for the GOP, we need to redefine what it means to be conservative, and thoroughly explain why conservatism is the best ideal for our country—religion has nothing to do with it. I have heard over the past few months by various commentators that the GOP has lost its identity. It most certainly has. There are many in this country who subscribe to the following stereotype: The GOP is for the rich, white religious fanatics; The Democratic Party is for everyone else. While this is a sad view, it is continuously promulgated in the mainstream media(MM). Unfortunately, the MM is the sole source of education in this country for most registered voters, and their conclusions are drawn by what the MM promotes. Indeed, it is a sad situation in this country that the MM is the opiate of the masses.

Throughout this debate on faith-based morality and public policy, the Dems have managed to come to the forefront, and paint the GOP as extremist religionists out of touch with the needs of the country. Remember Obama’s comment, “And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” They have successfully misled the public by promoting themselves to be the true party of liberty, when they are the party which actually promotes such freedom-threatening practices of bigger government, activist judicial appointees, and higher taxes—and now, enter socialism.

A true separation of church and state, which is called for under the constitution, is in dire need today. The RR has infiltrated the GOP through its PACs and special interest groups by attempting to legislate morality, all the while the Dems are walking all over the GOP, getting controversial anti-libertarian policies passed. Though it may be significantly handicapped by the MM, the GOP needs to reeducate the populous on the benefits of conservative values vs. the fallbacks of liberalism.

The ignorance(read lack of understanding) of the American people manifested itself in the 2008 elections. The people elected a president who is an unashamed socialist, and elected a vice-president who claims it is a patriotic thing to pay higher taxes. They elected a Congressman in Pennsylvania who called his own constituents racists, and then corrected himself by saying he meant rednecks, not racists. In Minnesota, we’re still awaiting a recount between comedian Al Franken, a bitter, angry individual who wants to raise the gasoline tax, and incumbent Norm Coleman. What the hell is going on here? Have the American people turned bitter towards their constitutional rights? I doubt it—I simply do not think the GOP has done a good job marketing the benefits of conservatism vs. liberalism to the American electorate.

We can only hope that any new future policies proposed by president-elect Obama will not increase the stranglehold on individual rights in this country. But, now is the time for the GOP. The GOP has only been knocked down, not knocked out. We need a grassroots effort geared towards educating the people on what our Bill of Rights actually stands for. It is the time now for the GOP to stop forgetting their constituents or losing focus of the goal of guaranteeing for all Americans “individual rights, economic freedom, and a government of strictly limited powers,” regardless of race or religion. Government should stay out of the lives of the American people, not creep in through the back door.

And finally, to the RR: Education is the key. Issues such as abortion, gay rights and marriage, etc. should be educated and not legislated. It is up to you to educate your family and friends concerning moral issues. It is your duty to educate your children to make moral decisions in their lives. When you turn to the government to legislate your ideals, it almost seems as if you are admitting your deficiency as a parent, a teacher, or a pastor. Morality is always rewarded, and all other things will fall into place.

Please, let the GOP be the GOP—not the GOD—and all else will fall into place.

Restructuring the Republican Party After Defeat: The Goldwater Model, Part 1

By Jerry Ryburg

With the election of Sen. Barack Hussein Obama(D-IL) as our nations 44th president, along with stinging Republican defeats in the senate, congress, and gubernatorial races, the Democrats have sent a sharp message to the Republicans, and have effectively declared the GOP out of order and out of touch with the desires of this country. Most of us never thought we would ever see the day where a platform of relaxed border patrols, class warfare, socialism, and tax hikes during times of economic crisis would win a national election, but that is exactly what we have seen before our very eyes.

The bad news first: We’re in this for at least four years; the good news: These next four years should be plenty enough time for the GOP to revive its base with considerable, pivotal reforms within the party to regain control, and thrust this country back to its roots. I’m calling on all libertarians, independents, republicans, and anyone else who identifies themselves with the conservative cause to rise up, and let’s get to work as soon as we can. We can either call on our GOP politicians to uncompromisingly adopt our conservative values, or we can raise up new leaders to take on the task. My fellow brothers and sisters, let me introduce you to what I call The Goldwater Model.

Before Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater was the major voice of conservatism, and was an influential leader in the early conservative revival which paved the way for Reagan to be elected president in 1980. The Goldwater Institute of Phoenix, AZ, which prides itself of being “devoted to the principles championed by the late Senator Barry Goldwater such as ‘individual rights, economic freedom, and a government of strictly limited powers,’" is just one political “think tank” paying tribute to his legacy to this day.

What is the first step the Republican Party can take? The GOP needs to distance itself from the so-called “Religious Right.” The GOP has been completely taken over by those evangelicals and “Christians” who are determined to turn this country into a theocracy with the GOP as its head. There are so many issues which this country needs to tackle in which we do not need the Religious Right(RR) to distract with other issues. The irony of the RR is that they are not conservative, nor libertarian, as evidenced for their demands for federal laws banning abortion, gay marriage, drug use, euthanasia, etc. The RR asks for “big government” laws to forward their agenda, thus negating “individual rights” of the states, as well as their fellow Americans.

Goldwater himself warned of such a thing in 1994 in an interview with the Washington Post, saying, “When you say ‘radical right’ today, I think of these moneymaking ventures by fellows like Pat Robertson and others who are trying to take the Republican party and make a religious organization out of it. If that ever happens, kiss politics goodbye.” In criticizing the Moral Majority organization led by the late Jerry Falwell for opposing the nomination of Sandra Day O’Connor to the Supreme Court bench, Goldwater said, “Every good Christian ought to kick Falwell right in the ass.” And finally, when he observed the state of the GOP, being hijacked by the RR, he said, “Do not associate my name with anything you do. You are extremists, and you've hurt the Republican party much more than the Democrats have.”

What the RR needs to understand is that their “issues” do not have any pivotal effect whatsoever in the major issues which frame our policy-making which govern this country in a way defending the Constitution. Abortion, drugs, gay marriage, etc. are just smokescreens distracting our lawmakers from tackling the real issues i.e. terrorism, the financial crisis, economy, taxes, border patrol, etc. The RR needs to realize that their “hot button” issues, are issues to be discussed within their families, churches, and study groups, and private schools--they should not be legislated at the federal level.

Finally, my message to the RR is this: While there is much chatter about how the Democratic Party is not the same as it used to be, the same can be said, if not more emphatically, about the GOP. I am not criticizing the positions of the RR as evil, radical, or out of touch. On a personal basis, I would side with the RR on many issues, yet only on a local and state level. My request to the RR is simply to step aside, and let us shape the policies which made the GOP a once great party and reclaim our country the way our founding fathers intended. Whether the RR likes it or not, the policies of the RR are secondary, maybe even tertiary, concerns which can be dealt with later, after our reconstruction. Otherwise, the Dems will always look at the GOP as Barry Goldwater said in 1989—that the GOP has been taken over by a “bunch of kooks.”

My last piece of advice is one of my favorite quotes of all times: “Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” – George Santayana.

Let us not forget! Now, let’s get to work.
